Huron River

Overlooking the bridge (and the entire area, for that matter) is Huron Towers, one of Ann Arbor's high-rise apartment structures. There are two towers, each twelve stories high, joined by an underground tunnel and parking structure. The towers are built on the banks of the Huron River, with a small lawn area and pool between them and the river. From the upper stories on the towers, one can see for miles over the Arboretum, Fuller Road, the river, the University's North Campus, and the Medical Campus.

This view is looking southwest, or upstream. The Arb covers the southern bank and sourrounding area, and beyond it lies the School of Public Health (right) and University Towers (center). The walking bridge in the foreground connects Fuller Road (and nearby North Campus) to a jogging path that leads to Gallup Park. This path doesn't cross the railway, however.
