| The south side of the garden features a small sloping lawn, with more benches along the border where visitors may sit and enjoy the smell of blooming flowers or a late autumn breeze. Sometimes classes meet here during the summer terms, or social groups hold gatherings here. Near the western entrance, it's conveniently near the hill-area residence halls and the Medical Campus.
