Just downstream and to the east of the water sculpture, the river passes under the railway bridge (with its well-known "pray" slogan spraypainted on the side) and Huron Towers, a large pair of apartment buildings guarding the east side of Ann Arbor. Beyond these, Gallup Park is about a mile down the river.
