Returning to the outside of the Diag, we pass through the Randall Extension and beneath the Randall Connector, which links the second floors of West Hall and the old Randall Lab. This connector was built several years before the Extension, and was intended to allow Physics faculty and students easier access to their offices in either building. The sharp-looking connector preserves the triangle motif which appears throughout the roofline of West Hall.
