At the intersection of South and East University, Ulrich's Books continues to sell textbooks, souveniers, and school supplies. Ulrich's has been here as long as I can remember, and it's creaky wooden floors indicate that its been around much longer than that. Next to Ulrich's, the former site of a conveniently-located Baskin Robbins has more recently been claimed by yet another of Ann Arbor's ubiquitous coffee shops: Cava Java. Baskin Robbins practically kept me alive during my student years. Now, Cava Java seems to be just as supportive of its loyal clientel.
