Even farther north than Kerrytown, the railroad passes through the north side of town along the floor of the Huron River Valley. Here on Depot Street, with the University of Michigan Medical Center in the background, an historic former railway station has been converted into an upscale restaurant. A favorite place for parents to take their college students out to eat when visiting, this is the Gandy Dancer, a member of the Chuck Muers' chain of restaurants
