All along Main Street, turn-of-the-century architecture dominates. While the streets are no longer brick, and the lamps were just recently replaced, the stone and brick facades remind us of an earlier era, where even the most functional buildings had a bit of art included for good measure. It's still not uncommon to find moulded ceilings and hanging fans in stores and offices downtown.
