The parking lots throughout the athletic campus are the places you'll find the most diehard Michigan fans in the hours before the game. Most of these people have season passes to specific lots, where they park their cars, vans, trailers, and RVs, and set up camp. The kids toss footballs (as seen here), while the folks grill their lunches beside their vehicles: a pastime known to serious sports fans as "tailgating"
