Medical Campus

The University of Michigan has a long tradition in the Medical field. From the development of the polio vaccine to today's cancer research and human genome mapping, researchers at the University of Michigan Medical School have always been leaders.

Since the late 1970s, the Medical Center has grown dramatically. Replacing the venerated University Hospital building on the northeast side of town, the new Medical Center has created a new skyline along the Huron River valley.

NOTE: This is just a beginning! There are many parts of the Medical Campus that aren't represented here yet.
