| Just north of the Ford Library, the Bentley Library houses several large archival collections. One of its functions is to manage the archives of the University of Michigan. The library also houses the archived papers of many of Michigan's former Governors. This is an excellent training ground for students in the School of Information's archives program, in addition to being an invaluable source of information for researchers.
