Hi there,
  As you may or may not know I've departed the warm and sunny
shores of Oz for more interesting (colder) climes.  Yes folks, in
the tradition of Fifel Goes West (Greg will understand :),  we have
Paul Goes South to Antarctica....
(pauses for Ob Penguin joke that everyone seems to find so funny) 
Anyway before we lose the plot totally here's what's happening;

Arrive Hobart: 15th December
Depart(ed) Hobart: 19th December
Arrive(d) Casey base: 29th December

Depart Casey: 1st March '93
(stops at Mawson, Heard Is, Macquarie Is in between)
Arrive Hobart: 2nd April '93
Start at LaTrobe: hmmm, maybe?

So until then you can expect mail response from this account to be
pretty slow, anything up to 3 1/2 months in fact :)  But with a bit
of luck though Antarctic division in their infinte kindness and
wisdom will give me some space on their VAX so I can still annoy
you all long distance.  I hope to hear from you soon, Paul.
