Reading List

You may wish to prepare yourself for your upcoming journey by reading about the areas that you are going to visit and by exploring particular facets of the program that capture your imagination.

We recommend that you investigate the Earth Sciences, History and Travel sections of your local library where you can get a sense of what has been written about the places on your Antarctica itinerary. You may also wish to investigate some books on photography techniques since you will be witness to the intense wildness and natural beauty that Antarctica offers its visitors.

In order to help you locate reading materials for your trip, we have put together a list that provides a framework of reliable sources and titles by recognized authorities. The framework can easily be adjusted toward one direction or another to suit your own preferences and interests.
